BIOGRAPHY

After becoming acquainted with how physicists see and try to understand our physical world, I turned toward that profession from an otherwise strong interest in quantitative things and tinkering in laboratory-like settings. I became convinced that measurements, together with predictive models, seem to be at the heart of many new discoveries…and now more than ever I appreciate the tongue-in-cheek motto of a particular research group at the Space Sciences Lab (Berkeley) that reads ‘Veritas Duo Sigma.’
